Ripstop is a fabric with a reinforced structure. It is tear-resistant thanks to its mesh-like weave, in which fine and thicker threads are interwoven. If the fabric snags, the tear will be limited to the perimeter of the square. Lightweight, it is often used for outdoor activities requiring a high level of technical expertise.
